The end of the 2nd quarter is always a mid-year opportunity to evaluate efforts at this point of the school year. Students start to understand that their hard work has helped them reach goals, or they start to identify that they must work harder to meet expectations. Teachers review their goals and determine paths to reach their goals before the end of the year. Administrators continue working on their plans for the following year while reviewing our goals to this point. The reason I mention these activities is to show we are always monitoring progress of students and school programs. We know we must continue to evaluate and review all school activities in order to allow our students to succeed.
The end of the year will be here before we know it, and I ask you to be engaged in your child's education. We have wonderful opportunities to be involved in their school experience, and I hope you take the chance to be a fixture in the most important years of their lives.
