The GAP program at the Southside Mission is cancelled for today Tuesday, 3/10.

No afterschool tutoring today due to predicted weather.

Due to anticipated severe weather beginning around 3pm, there will be NO activities/mtgs after school on Tues. Please be safe, everyone!

Junior high students recently completed a Social-Emotional Learning project with Ms. Amber where they researched different emotions and emotional skills. They explored how these emotions can impact school, friendships, and behavior, and discussed healthy ways to respond to them. Students shared their learning in creative ways such as documentaries, children’s books, comic strips, podcasts, or by teaching mini lessons to their classmates. The students did a fantastic job showing creativity, effort, and a deeper understanding of how emotions play an important role in everyday life.

Happy National Read Across America week! Our kindergarten and first grade Panthers got the chance to listen to some great books today! What a great way to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday! Thank you to all of those who visited our classroom, shared their love of reading with us, brought yummy treats, and inspired us to be great readers too! We can’t wait!
