Our 7th grade scientists have been busy getting hands-on with their owl pellet dissections! Students are carefully investigating, identifying bones, and using evidence to discover what their owl ate. 🦴🔎

There’s nothing better than seeing science come to life through hands-on learning! These Panthers are doing an awesome job staying curious, working together, and thinking like real scientists. 🐾💛🖤

We're having lots of fun with Book Blast & it continues this week. If your child hasn't completed their treasure map, it's not too late! Tomorrow, we will draw for the final wooden treasure box & then one lucky student will win the Giant Treasure Chest filled with really great stuff!

🌟 REMINDER: GRANDPARENTS BREAKFAST! 🌟 We’re excited to welcome our grandparents to Pleasant Hill School for a special breakfast with our students! 💛🖤 🥞 Tomorrow — Monday, September 14 Pre-K–4th Grade | 7:30–8:30 AM 🥞 Tuesday, September 15 5th–8th Grade | 7:30–8:30 AM ⏰ Please arrive by 7:15 AM to allow time to check in. 🪪 A government-issued photo ID is required for entry into the school. We can’t wait to celebrate our amazing grandparents! 💛🐾

2nd grade has been learning about butterflies/caterpillars since about the start of the school year. We were able to get caterpillars from a young age and watch them grow. They very much so enjoyed watching the Life cycle in real time. One Thursday they actively watched one of the caterpillars forms its chrysalis! We thought we had until this Thursday for them to emerge out as Beautiful Butterflies! Boy was I wrong. The two butterflies joined us over the weekend. At the end of the day we were able to let them go and watch them fly away! The butterfly life cycle will always be one of my/ our favorite science units!
