As part of Earth Day celebrations, Miss Mathewson's 5th grade and Ms. Naugle cleaned up the front landscaping including plant pruning and garbage cleanup! 🌎🌺
Let's kick off our Spring Spirit Week with celebrating Earth Day on Tuesday! Students may be out of uniform on 4/22 by wearing items that are green/blue or promote science, nature, weather, animals, or conservation. **All items must be school-appropriate and should consider the weather conditions that would occur for outdoor recess/PE.
Thanks to Peoria YMCA, Alpha Park Library, South Side Mission, and U of I Extension for some GREAT activities and fun summer opportunities for our Panthers!

We love celebrating birthdays! Our Kindergarten Panthers got to help Ms. Douglas celebrate her birthday and were surprised with cupcakes, cookies, chips, and juice! We love learning, but we love tasty treats even more!
We LOVE having Rocky visit with one of our Social workers! Rocky is a certified facility therapy dog. He is great for our social emotional health! 🐾🖤💛😍

An Art Contest is part of the Health Fair! Students decorated their goodie bags in the Health Fair themes of Social Emotional Health, Social Media Safety or Safety Plans/CPR/911. They did AMAZING!!! Winners got Art supply prizes! 🎨🖌️
